During the past few days, we have been informed about two foreign students’ union donating money for the pediatrics in Debrecen. On 3 July, Boris Diker, President of Student Union FMSA Team gave 1.4 million Forints for the Pediatric Clinic. The donation came from the International Food Day organized in April and from the tickets sold for The Oscar’s Talent Show. In his interview given to a local television, Boris told they would have liked to support more foundations of the university but their sources were limited. According to his words, children are little wonders of life so it is important to support them.
One of the pediatrics pavilions has been renovated at the Clinic not long ago; partly it was financed by the the donation.
On 9 July, Monday, Ravi Jobanputra, President of UD MHSC Students’ Union University of Debrecen, Asian Society gave a donation of 500 thousand Forints to the Genetic Center of the Clinic. The amount was collected from the income of Oscar’s Talent Show. The union gave it for the foreign examination of children waiting to for diagnosis in the Clinic Genetics Center.
