Outstanding archaeological finds, a cemetery with human bones, were discovered from 1st century A.D. – reported the Déri Museum. Marianna Kovács, PR officer of the Museum explained that 8 tombs were excavated by the archaeologists.
Archaeological finds of this type in the Great Plain have not been known. Moreover, these excavations can reveal a lot about the political, social and ethnic relations of this era, about which little has been known.
