7-8 December, Cultural Centre of Debrecen: XXII. International Crèche Meeting
Opening ceremony: 7 p.m. at Kossuth Square
30 groups are coming from 5 countries to participate in the Advent related programs of the weekend. The almost 400 contributories will present their Crèche plays and going to prepare for Christmas with the residents of Debrecen.
8 December, 11 a.m., Kossuth Square: Joulupukki
Santa Claus arrives to Debrecen from Lapland.

9 December, 4 p.m., Kossuth Square: Let There Be Faith! – The lighting of the second candle on the Advent wreath
“The people of the desert” starts their march from the City Hall at 4.30 p.m. Speeches will be held at the Christmas Tree by Dr László Papp, vice-mayor, and by the leaders of the Greek Catholic and the Evangelic church. After that the Hungarian Defence Force will give a concert, entitled “The Four Candles” at Kölcsey Convention Centre at 6 p.m. The entrance is free!
