Healthy drinking water will be distributed by the Hungarian Army.
From January 2013, the 5th Bocskai Riffle Troop of the Hungarian Army and the Infantry Garrison of Hódmezővásárhely will supply 340 thousand inhabitants in six counties with drinking water.
In accordance with the government’s decision, the army would be distributing healthy drinking water in the area of the arsenic pollution, until the implementation of the water quality program is finished.
Various technical equipments will help the troops in the distribution; water tankers, trailers
and vehicles which provide medical and technical background.
There will be 28 distribution spots in the counties of Békés, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, and Hajdú-Bihar.
