According to the chief medical officer of Hungary, the heat comes back at this weekend.
A second-degree heat alert was issued at midnight. The spokesperson of the Hungarian Meteorological Service says that daytime temperatures will continue to rise to as high as 37-38 degrees Celsius.
The heat alert lasts till Monday.
