The local government donated home appliances for 86 foster parents at the Debrecen County House yesterday.
57 washing machines, 16 fridges, 5 dishwashers and 8 microwave ovens were given to the foster parents of Hajdú-Bihar County; the appliances will be delivered in the first quarter of the year.
Dr György Verdó, president of the Social and Child Protection Directorate General said that it was crucial to appreciate the work of the foster parents; they did not receive any acknowledgment in the past however they would have deserve it.
Since it was a nationwide initiation, home appliances were presented for 1200 foster parents in the country.
