Attila K., Ukrainian citizen stabbed an old man to death and took away his 18.000 Forints in 2001.
Attila K. was sentenced to 15 years of penal servitude for premeditated murder in October 2013. At that time the defendant appealed against the verdict.
According to the indictment, the defendant used to come to Hungary to sell smuggled cigarettes and liqueur. István K., the victim, was a customer of the Ukrainian man, he bought cigarettes a few times. Once the defendant asked for accommodation but the old man refused to give it to him. After this incident Attila K. decided to return to the man and took all his money away out of revenge.
Attila K. hit his victim in the head than he stabbed him on his neck. He took all his money away, which was 18.000 Forints and left.
An international warrant for arrest was issued against the murderer and he was caught in Russia in 2012.
