The fifth Mangalica Festival is to be organized on Kossuth Tér between 11 and 13 April 2014.
Mangalica is a breed of pig with unusual hairy ‘fleece’. Not only is the long-haired pig universally considered in Hungary to be tastier than regular pork, it is also believed to be far healthier.
Next weekend, visitors could taste various types of mangalica dishes, mangalica sausages and meat, besides, homemade marmalade, honey, spices, oil and cheese.
