The Debrecen Nagyerdő Culture Park has two special newcomers: one of them is a southern ground hornbill and the other one is a Lady Ross’s Turaco.
Both of the birds are originated in Africa. Dodó, the southern ground hornbill (Bucorvus leadbeateri) came from the Budapest Zoo. Dodó is the second southern ground hornbill in the zoo, while the Lady Ross’s Turaco (Musophaga rossae) is the first specimen in Debrecen.
