MODEM organizes its weekly Film Club on Tuesday, 4 August from 8.30 pm.
Amdrás Jeles’s movie, The Little Valentino is to be screened at the inner garden.
The Little Valentino (102 min., Hungarian drama, OV)
The twenty-year-old young man Sz. László is a lorry guard employed by an agricultural co-operative located in the vicinity of the capital. One day he neither posts the money officially entrusted to him nor goes to work, spending time and money as he likes on things he otherwise cannot afford, such as hanging around, sweets, driving in taxis, restaurants, Lake Balaton, girls, etc. Although the money has been gone by the evening and the day has been spent in a versatile and exciting way, nothing that can bring him happiness. He is still as he was, without a real relationship to something or somebody. His last journey in the evening takes him to the police station. As he enters the gate he disappears from our view.
