A baby camel was born in Debrecen Zoo on the 27th of March. The mare and her colt can already be visited.
A camel colt is about 25-40 kg when it is born and it stays with the mare until it becomes matura at about 3-5. Camels can live up to 50 years.
Debrecen Zoo is open between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm.
