HVG (World Economy Weekly) Hungarian weekly listed the best 100 high schools in Hungary. Four of them are in Debrecen.
At the top 10, there are mostly Budapest high schools, however two of them are not from Budapest; one is a grammar school in Veszprém and the other is a grammar school in Győr.
According to the list, the best high school in Debrecen is the Kossuth Lajos Grammar School of the University of Debrecen; it is on the 18th place. The second best is the Fazekas Mihály Grammar School (20th), the third is the Ady Endre Grammar School (58th) and the fourth is the Tóth Árpád Grammar School (71st).
