Commemorations of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 were held throughout the country.
In Debrecen, Lajos Kósa (former Mayor of Debrecen and present Leader of the Fidesz parliamentary group) gave a speech at the ’56 memorial at the University of Debrecen.
