American Corner Debrecen and Méliusz Juhász Péter Library are organizing a special student conference this year.

Programme: A student conference presented by Méliusz Juhász Péter Library and the American Corner Debrecen. Méliusz Juhász Péter Library is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its successful Student Conference series in 2016. As a special programme element they introduce an English language section the first time this year. They invite applications from 7th and 8th graders from primary schools, and 9th and 10th garders from high schools in and around Debrecen. The English language student conference will be held on the 13th of December, 2016 at 5:00 pm at American Corner Debrecen (Méliusz Juhász Péter Library, 19/D Bem square, Debrecen).

English Language Student Conference theme: ME, and the World as I See It
The program is designed to help Hungarian students better express themselves, and learn the ins and outs of presenting in front of public in a real conference setting. Students with good command of English can apply to present a maximum 5-minute-long presentation along with an optional Prezi which is strongly related to the theme offered this year ME, and the World As I See It.
