The Hungarian National Meteorological Center has issued an extreme cold weather alert for Nógrád, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, Pest, Heves and Hajdú-Bihar County.
The average temperature will be -15 Celsius degrees at night and stormy wind is also expected.
