Hungarian soldiers, who are going to Iraq soon, were said goodbye on 17 January 2017.
A celebration was held at the Debrecen Kossuth Barrack on Tuesday. Almost 140 Hungarian soldiers will represent Hungary and the Hungarian Defense Forces in Iraq.
Gábor Horváth, Major General, held a speech in which he said that the soldiers would spend 6 months in Iraq. He also mentioned that the leaving soldiers were trained efficiently, so they could participate in operations safely.
