Air quality index shows that the quality of air has reached the unhealthy level in many Hungarian cities.
According to the National Institute of Environmental Health (NIEH), the quality of air has reached the unhealthy level in the following cities:
Budapest, Vác, Dorog, Esztergom, Szeged, Szolnok, Eger, Salgótarján, Miskolc, Oszlár, Kazincbarcika, Sajószentpéter, Vác, Debrecen, Nyíregyháza, Hernádszurdok, Pécs, Dunaújváros, Várpalota, Ajka, Mosonmagyaróvár, Sopron, and Szombathely.
