Weather alert has been issued in the capital and in ten counties for the extreme cold and fog.Weather alert has been issued in Budapest and in Pest, Baranya, Bács-Kiskun, Békés, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Csongrád, Hajdú-Bihar, Heves, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Nógrád, Somogy, Tolna and Zala counties because of the extreme cold and foggy weather.
Apart from the fog, snowfall and sleet are also expected in the above mentioned regions. Temperature will be between 1 and -4 Celsius during daytime, while the nights will be very cold with -16 or -20 Celsius.
