The Hungarian Meteorology Service has issued an alert for nine Hungarian counties: Bács-Kiskun, Békés, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Csongrád, Hajdú-Bihar, Heves, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Nógrád and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg; heavy rainstorms are expected.
