According to the plans, the International School of Debrecen starts operating in 2019.
The Municipality of Debrecen has committed to open an international school in September 2019. The school will meet the highest standards internationally, comprising a globally accepted system of education that offers education from kindergarten to high school in English.
The International School of Debrecen (ISD) will provide both foreign and Hungarian students with the education of the 21st century in a modern and professional environment while maintaining a close relationship with the local and regional communities.
The students from 3-18 years will learn from a broad and balanced curriculum to gain the essential knowledge and skills that provide a foundation for a successful future in higher education and beyond. Municipality of Debrecen considers the school as being one of the key factors to attract high value-added foreign direct investment (FDI) and facilitate economic development in the region.
The highly experienced team of the International Education Centre of Debrecen Nonprofit Kft. (DENOK) is responsible for the implementation of this project.

We’re a working couple having three children (boys – detail is given below), working and living in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). We intend to send our children to school leading to higher education in a European Country. Since my three brothers and lots of cousins got an education from Hungary and now they’re perfectly working in their professions such as medical and engineering. This motivated us to choose Hungary for the education of our children.

1. Ahmed Younis – DOB 07 May 2005 – Currently studying in Grade 7 (American Curriculum)
2. Hamed Younas – DOB 20 Feb 2008 – Currently studying in Grade 4 (American Curriculum)
3. Mahmood Younas – DOB 24 May 2009 – Currently studying in Grade 3 (American Curriculum)
One of a parent is ready to live with the children up to their finishing school. We’re also ready to sacrifice of their one year to study and learn the Hungarian Language if it is necessary. Please provide us detailed information on the following:
1. What is teaching medium, English or Hungarian
2. Which grade/level our children would be accepted in your school.
3. What is the fee structure and payment mode?
4. Will it be possible to pay the fee on monthly basis?
5. How will you help us obtaining visas for children and one of the parent?
6. Could you provide information on visa requirements, in our case?
7. Any further related or necessary information will be welcomed.
