The police have finished investigating the case of a woman who failed to yield to a car, whose driver was drunk.
A woman was driving her Opel from Piac Utca towards Kossuth Utca on 16 April 2017. Arriving at Klaipeda Utca, she failed to yield and crashed with another car. The woman suffered minor injuries, while the other driver, a 31-year-old man, suffered serious ones.
During the breath test it turned out that the man was drunk. A procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of drunk driving.
A procedure was also initiated against the 25-year-old Romanian woman.
