The third festival of Hungarian cuisine and culture was opened in Tel-Aviv on Wednesday.
The two-day festival was organized on 25-26 October in the city’s revamped old port, a popular cultural and entertainment venue. Debrecen, which has just been connected to Tel-Aviv by a direct flight, was a special guest, László Berényi said.
Programmes included cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, a cake exhibition and stalls selling Hungarian specialities. The festival was opened by Tel-Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai, the Hungarian ambassador to Israel Andor Nagy and Debrecen Mayor László Papp.
