The 20th Debrecen Autumn Festival is to be held between 6 and 18 November at the Kölcsey Center. During the thirteen days of the festival, twenty-two programs will be organized.
A press conference was held this afternoon, where the cultural vice-mayor of Debrecen, Szabolcs Komolay emphasised the huge variety of programs of the festival; there will be literature, classical and pop music, fine arts exhibition, theatre, gastronomy and cube festival for children.
András Berecz, Hungarian Kossuth awarded story-teller performs on his 60th birthday. The Debrecen Kodály Choir gives a concert on the occasion of the 135th birthday of Zoltán Kodály. The musical, Mamma Mia! Will be performed at the Főnix Hall for the first time in Debrecen. Honeybeast, popular Hungarian band also gives a concert, called Honeybeast Symphoney.
Besides concerts, wine tasting is also among the programs; young oenologists present their new wines.
Cube Festival is waiting for children, where they could play with LEGO figures and miniature sceneries.
