Kéretlen Figyelem Debreceni Nők Egyesülete and Segíts a rászorulókon Facebook group organized a charity food sharing on Petőfi square.People in need were invited to a free Christmas lunch on Petőfi square on the second day of Christmas (26th of December) at 11:00 am.
There were hundreds of people in the queue: retired people, homeless people from the streets and a number of public workers. They were given stuffed cabbage, beigli, brioche, sweets and fresh bread as a special Christmas lunch.
Several local people brought toys, clothes and cookies for the event. An old lady even baked a cake for the people in need.
