Attila Kenyeres is the only Hungarian journalist, who won a 6 week-long summer scholarship to the United States in 2017 founded by the U.S. State Department. The Study of The U.S. Institute (SUSI) on Media and Journalism 2017 program was organized by the Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. During the program the participants had the opportunity to visit the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, the Newseum in Washington D.C. and even the famous fountain from the main title of “Love And Marriage” TV show (with Al Bundy) in Chicago. After the scholarship Attila Kenyeres took a private journey to the Universal Studios in Hollywood, Los Angeles, where he visited Hogsmeade, the land of Harry Potter. Between of these he had experienced the unique atmosphere of American breweries, pubs and country karaoke bars in Ohio. Attila Kenyeres offers you an opportunity for a virtual journey to these places as presents you his fist-hand U.S. experiences at the American Corner Debrecen, complemented with photos and videos. Attila Kenyeres is a former public and political journalist from Debrecen. Currently he is a PhD candidate and an assistant lecturer of the University Of Debrecen. He has got his own course called Media Manipulation which is open for all of the university students.
