According to the Hungarian Meteorology Service, snowing and cooldown are expected in the next few days in Hungary.
Monday will be cloudy, snowing is also expected. The lowest temperatures will be between -14 and -7 Celsius degrees, and the highest will be around -8 and -1 Celsius degrees. Red weather alerts were issued because of extreme cold for the following counties: Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Győr-Moson-Sopron, Heves, Komárom-Esztergom, Nógrád, Vas and Veszprém. Because of snowdrift, red weather alerts were issued for Baranya, Bács-Kiskun, Fejér, Győr-Moson-Sopron, Komárom-Esztergom, Somogy, Tolna, Vas, Veszprém and Zala.
Snowing is expected for Tuesday. At night, there will be -15 and -8 Celsius degrees, while during the day there will be -9 and -3 Celsius degrees.
There will be snow and wind on Wednesday. The lowest temperatures will be between -17 and -8 Celsius degrees and the highest will be around -9 and -3 Celsius degrees.
Thursday, 1 March will be sunny, however snowing and wind are also expected. At night, there will be -16 and -10 Celsius degrees, while during the day, there will be -6 and -1 Celsius degrees.
Precipitation is also expected on Friday; there will be snow, sleet and rain. The lowest temperatures will be between -10 and -3 Celsius degrees and the highest will be -3 and -2 Celsius degrees.
There will be snow, sleet and wind on Saturday. The lowest temperatures will be -4 and 1 Celsius degrees and the highest will be 0-5 Celsius degrees.
On Sunday, rain and stormy wind are expected. At night, there will be -2 and 3 Celsius degrees, while during the day, there will be 3-9 Celsius degrees.
