Easter at the Debrecen Zoo and Amusement Park 2018

Debrecen Zoo and Amusement park is inviting you for an EGG-citing Easter-themed weekend with extended opening hours.

Leap and hop to meet with your favorite EASTER PETS:
– fluffy rabbits in the Bunny Zoo
– newly hatched chicks in the Palm House
– cute house animals in the Petting zoo
– adorable new animals the Valais Blacknose sheep

Spring is a time of new beginnings the perfect opportunity to meet with our new ZOO BABIES (warning cuteness overload 😊). Come and see:
– baby penguins takes their first spring steps in the Penguin house
– baby ring-tailed lemur babies in the newly opened Katta walkway
You can have an EGG-stravangant time in our ARTS AND CRAFTS CORNER:
– help to paint a Giant Egg
– make your own Easter egg or Easter decoration
– visit our EGGs-hibiton in the Gibbon House
– have your Easter face painted in the Bunny Corner
The AMUSEMENT park also offers all kinds of fun activities:
– challenge yourself in the Bunny race
– be a part of the traditional Hungarian Easter Sprinkling
– boys and men challenge yourselves in the Sprinkling poem competition
Live music, folklore dance and singing, lots of games and animator bunnies waiting for you on this fabulous Easter Weekend. The little ones can ride a donkey, travel with the donkey chariot or take a ride on the Miniature Train.
On Easter Monday in cooperation with the DKV we invite you for a fun Egg Hunt with lots of prize. Only on this day the visitors can take a ride with the DKV Easter decorated nostalgia tram to the Zoo.

Holiday opening hours in the Zoo and Amusement Park:
Friday-Saturday: 9:00 AM-4:00 PM
Sunday-Monday: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Participation in EASTER PROGRAMS is FREE of charge with a general Zoo and Amusement Park admission. Ticket prices remain unchanged.
