Manufacturing of Mercedes buses starts soon

In March 2017, ITK Holding Ltd. announced the construction of two bus factories.

The two facilities will be built from 70 million Euros. The smaller one is already built on Határ Út.

An important milestone has come to the Debrecen developments of Inter Traction Electrics Ltd (ITE): the newest chassis has arrived from Mercedes-Benz’s Spanish factory.

The manufacturing of the next ITE prototype has begun, so the company will present its new model soon. According to the plans, the series production starts soon in Debrecen.

The new chassis is to be built on the M+/II class Mercedes-Benz Reform family, which includes the conventional vehicle safety and stability program.

Last year, ITE presented the M3/I class Mercedes-Benz Reform 500 LE city bus. This time, a suburban model was designed. The new vehicle will also have tool boxes and hat-rack, in addition, customers can order seats with three-point safety belts.
