DKV Zrt. launches a night bus service during five summer weekends (between the 6th of July and the 12th of August) in Debrecen.There are going to be buses on seven routes in the city during five summer weekends at night. The night bus service is going to serve as a test in the summer months.
Currently, night buses carry passengers from the Airport, on the tram line No. 2. These buses are adjusted primarily to the departure and arrival times of flights and to the shifts of employees in the southern industrial park.
At the end of the five-week-long test period DKV Zrt, will analyze the information collected and, of course, if there is a proper travel demand and economically it is also possible to support the operation of the night bus service, they will decide whether to schedule a night bus service in Debrecen in the future.
