A 16-year-old boy shot an award winner Yorkshire terrier in Nagyréve, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County.
A 12-year-old girl was playing outside with her two dogs, when suddenly, one of them disappeared. The family have started to look for the award winner dog immediately; soon, they have found it dead near their home. Right after the incident, the mother called the police. At first, the 16-year-old boy denied that he was the one who shot the dog, later he admitted that he did it. He also said that he thought that it was a stray dog and that was the reason he shot it.
As the boy is 16, he could be sentenced to 3 years in prison.
