Klaus Dieter Streicher, Envoy, visited Debrecen for the second time on 21 March 2019.
The German diplomat discussed topics as economy and education with László Papp, mayor of Debrecen.
The last 3-4 years was the time of German investments, since such big companies as Thyssenkrupp, KRONES, Continental, Diehl Aviation and BMW Group has chosen Debrecen – said László Papp.
Mr. Streicher was interested in the International School Debrecen and in the Institute for German Studies of the University of Debrecen. According to Streicher, developments in education could make more attractive the city of Debrecen for other German companies.
