Chargé Kostelancik Visits Debrecen

To highlight the upcoming 30th anniversary of democracy in Hungary, Chargé d’Affaires David Kostelancik delivered a lecture to students and faculty of the Institute of English and American Studies, University of Debrecen on April 10, 2019.

He described the development and deepening of Hungarian-American relations in the period before and after the regime change, and had a productive discourse with the participants where students could ask questions.

Chargé Kostelancik had a full day in Debrecen: he also met with University of Debrecen Vice Rector and Fulbright alumnus, Prof. Dr. Elek Bartha, attended the Topping Out Ceremony of American multinational company National Instruments Corporation at their Debrecen facility where he also met with Debrecen mayor and International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) alumnus, László Papp.
