As it turned out, Csongor and his boyfriend were rejected immediately before signing the contract; the owner of the Budapest apartment said that it was a problem for him that the two young men were homosexuals.
According to the Hungarian Civil Liberties Union, this behavior of the flat owner is negative discrimination, for which he may even be punished.
