Synagogue in Pásti Street Turned to Serve as Gallery

The Jewish Quarter of Debrecen also joined the Flower Carnival programme series. The exhibition called Flower symphony was opened in the gallery of the Orthodox Synagogue in Pásti Street on 12 August 2020.

More than forty works of art by ten Hungarian artists – Judit Cs. Horváth, Anikó Éberling, Zsuzsa Gesztelyi Nagy, Márta Kiss, Dávid Merényi, Sára Osgyányi, Andrea Papageorgiu, Réka Schnedarek, Franciska Szabó, Orsolya Lia Vető – can be seen here on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. until 18 September. There are certain pieces that were created especially for this occasion. As a matter of course, the theme of the exhibition is the flower, which is presented by each painter according to their own perspective and technique.
