A new school dental surgery has been established in the building of the Saint Joseph Primary, Grammar and Vocational Secondary School and Dormitory at 17 Saint Anne Street, under the maintenance of the Debrecen-Nyíregyháza Roman Catholic Diocese.
The facility was inaugurated by Ferenc Palánki, Bishop of the Diocese, by Diána Széles, Vice Mayor of Debrecen and by Csaba Papp, Director of the Debrecen Institute of Basic Healthcare and Health Development of the Clinical Centre of the University of Debrecen (DAEFI) on 25 September 2020. There is one dental treatment unit in the consulting room, which will provide dental screening and care for 1,680 children. The new dental surgery is a result of the joint effort by the diocese and the healthcare provider, which means a 4-million-HUF contribution by both.
