The energy modernisation of Szivárvány Kindergarten in Monostorpályi Road has been completed. The institution has been renovated from more than 200 million HUF. No significant renovation had been carried out in the building for years, that is why this investment became necessary. The aim was to create conditions that meet present-day requirements for children to progress.
– The institution badly needed renovation. I think we have reached the end of the work that allows teachers working here, the institution leader and the kindergarteners to take into possession a 21st-century environment – said Szabolcs Komolay Municipal Councillor at the press conference held on 2 October 2020. The exterior facade of the building was insulated, and the doors and windows were changed to new ones. Furthermore, the electrical grid has also been renewed, and so-called presence sensor switches have been installed in the restrooms and corridors so that the light should be on only if there is somebody in there.
