What is going on with our raccoons

The only raccoon cubs in Hungary right now, our five little bandits have grown a lot and get on really well with their keepers. You will have to be very lucky to meet this iconic species in late autumn and winter since, although they do not actually hibernate, they are considerably less active in this part of the year and hardly ever leave their dens. We hope posts like this will help you wait till you can see more of our raccoons in spring.
