Along with all other leisure facilities nationwide, zoos in Hungary have been closed to the public for over 4 months, facing a lengthy closure for the second time in the past year. Based on your feedback, we are well aware that these are hard times for both us and all of you who consider zoos the go-to venues for safe, carefree and nature-friendly recreation.
There are currently 20 countries throughout Europe (including more than half of EU member states as well as all adjacent countries except for Slovakia) where zoos are open to visitors with similar health and safety measures in place to the ones we introduced while we were open last year. In light of all that, we trust to see you in person soon and, until then, stay strong and keep healthy.
