For those who only lacked the space, the community or the tools to implement their innovative ideas, a creative space for young people opened in Debrecen, which provides all the necessary conditions for fulfillment. KraftLab also shows the power of collaboration: the concept of the creative workshop has been developed in the same way with stakeholders, ie members of Generations Z and Y, as well as its opening party program related to the opening.
According to the company, Telekom Kraft is a unique initiative. A commitment from Telekom that aims to change the lives of young people, highlighting situations and opportunities where young people can be capable of huge things together or together with a brand! A program that helps young people get into positions. All the conditions for this are now in place: KraftLab opened in Debrecen, where the physical location, technological background and mentoring assistance are available to implement innovative ideas.
The concept of KraftLab was created by Telekom together with the young people, and the framework is also shaped by the successful innovators of the Z and Y generations. They themselves introduced the newly opened KraftLabet to the press themselves: they were hosts of the event who had already made their mark as innovators (e.g. game developer, launcher of a digital media product, film director). Not only do they have experience in how to get from idea to investors and the market, but also in what digital tools and techniques provide the most effective support in leveling up; how much the strength of the community and the professional expert background that Telekom Kraft has done and puts behind their projects means.
The official opening was followed by programs that were also based on the creative ideas of young people: Telekom provided experienced mentors and event organizers but entrusted the planning and implementation for those participating in the Kraft program.
It’s also very exciting for me as a physicist that Kraft is about experimentation, constant trying, and the opportunity for improvement. KraftLab’s equipment is unique, plus it’s available to college students for free, which is a huge opportunity. If you need greenbox studio technology, a 3D printer, a podcast room to develop someone’s ideas, you can find it here. But it is at least as important that young people with similar interests working on similar issues can meet here and receive advice, solutions and inspiration not only from KraftLab mentors but also from each other.
– emphasized Janka Sára Molnár, who joined as a young physicist.
Research shows that members of Generation Z have an important opportunity to unleash the creativity and co-creation that lies within them, and these needs have intensified even after the constraints of the epidemic situation. At the same time, it is an important experience for our generation, that olders talk a lot about us, but they never ask us. KraftLab is a possible answer to understanding the younger generation.
– said Tomi Trunk, a Z generation expert.
The young generation is extremely important to Telekom. When we developed Telekom Kraft’s concept, we also considered physical locations, but due to the pandemic, so far only online implementations were possible. The Kraft community is still organized into a network, providing a wide range of opportunities for its young people to develop and develop. We are particularly pleased to finally be able to contribute to their completion with the newly opened building. KraftLab can be a base for them where they can experiment without risk and where they can shape the frames according to their own needs.
– said Attila Béla Szabó, Telekom’s Commercial and Brand Communications Director.
