More than a hundred people could fight at the Doberdó-Kartács street in Debrecen.
In the group Debrecenben Hallottam, several people write that it was a big fight there, presumably football drukkers were fighting with each other. It is said that a Molotov cocktail or something similar was also found. There were those who saw individuals running in black ski masks, and several were on top of cars. Vandals were throwing firecrackers under cars.
The police issued a statement on the case:
A report was received by the police on October 2, 2021, around 6:45 pm, that more people were fighting in Debrecen, at the intersection of Kartács Street and Doberdó Street. Following the signal, the uniforms immediately went to the scene and produced 15 fans in connection with the brawl. Additional perpetrators are currently being identified and traced.
The Criminal Department of the Debrecen Police Headquarters has initiated proceedings on suspicion of committing a criminal offense.
Fifteen people have been detained so far by police and are still investigating further disruptors.
