The Nagyerdei Cultural Park serves as an arena for environmental education on more than 17 hectares and provides an opportunity to hold activities that fit the curriculum or are outside of class. The institution wants students to put on paper what animals mean to them, so on the occasion of World Animal Day, it is announcing a drawing competition called “Me and the Animals”.
You can apply for the competition from any school in the country with one A / 4 size paper-based work per class, which can be made with any technique (eg paint, pencil, felt-tip pen, etc.). Entries can be submitted by post (4032 Debrecen, Ady Endre út 1.) or delivered in person at the zoo box office, open until 10 December 2021.
From the works received, the first three places selected with the help of a professional jury, as well as an audience award-winning project voted on the institution’s community page (www.facebook.com/zoodebrecen), will receive awards that include group zoo visits and guided tours and amusement park adventures.
The institution will notify the winners by telephone, so it requests that the exact name and address be included on the back of the entry or in the annex to the submitted material by telephone.
