Two defendants were sentenced to nine years and nine and a half years for trafficking in human beings, and another two to three years, eight months and four years in prison at first instance for sexual violence against a minor girl, a court spokesman said on Wednesday.
According to Dénes Dobó, two of the accused traded in the victim and two paid them to have a sexual act with the minor girl. The court also permanently barred the third and fourth-degree defendants from all occupations and activities related to the education, supervision, care and medical treatment of persons under the age of 18.
According to the facts, the juvenile victim had regular contact with her half-brother, the first-degree defendant, and his mother, the second-degree defendant. Relatives also asked two men for money to have sex with the child.
The defendants kicked the little girl out on Christmas 2019, and then informed the third-degree defendant by telephone that he could have sex with her for eight thousand forints. The third-degree defendant took the little girl by car, who told him she was only 12 years old, but the man had intercourse with her and then took her back to her half-brother.
The next day, the first and second defendants went to Berettyóújfalu together with the victim. From there, the woman telephoned the fourth-degree defendant, who – after handing over ten thousand forints to the adults – took the victim to “talk” to her and then raped her in a nearby building, despite her protests.
In February 2020, the little girl told what happened to police officers who were looking for her because she had escaped from the apartment home where she lived.
The judgment is not final.
