The Local Government of the City of Debrecen does not make it compulsory for its employees to be vaccinated against the coronavirus, said Mayor László Papp.
According to trade unions, nearly three-quarters of workers already have at least a second vaccination against the coronavirus. Although vaccination will not be mandatory, we have recommended that as many coronavirus vaccines as possible be used to ensure the functioning of the institutions.
The current client reception system of the mayor’s office will not change,
but for those entering the buildings – customers and those working there – a body temperature measurement is mandatory from 3 November (Wednesday). From the same day, incoming customers will also be advised to wear a mask and use hand sanitizer.
A mask will be mandatory for officials working with clients, and a mask will be recommended for officials who do not receive clients.
Also, from November 3, 2021, wearing a mask will be mandatory for those working in a residential social institution.
I ask the people of Debrecen not to go to the community if they feel sick!
