The number of cranes resting in Hortobágy is slowly decreasing, but 86 thousand were still counted at the weekend.
Thanks to the Hortobágy National Park Directorate, crane trucks will leave for the most populous gathering place this week on Wednesday and Friday from 2.30 pm.
Wilderness crane watching on four wheels
See the cranes pulling their overnight stays in the national park. The program begins with the payment of the tour fee, followed by a brief briefing on the cranes. Afterward, following the guide, the guests approach the field with their own car (a normal car is enough), which is located up to 20-30 km from the village of Hortobágy.
