The Debrecen District Prosecutor’s Office has indicted a juvenile who threw a stone from an embankment at a moving train for a crime against traffic safety.
The 16-year-old boy walked from Hajdúhadház to Bocskaikert on foot along the railway tracks between Hajdúhadház and Bocskaikert in the early evening on April 28, 2021. The young man picked up a 4 cm diameter stone from the railway embankment and then dropped the passenger train arriving a few minutes later. The stone hit the part of one of the car’s cars between the two windows.
The chief ticket inspector was in this car, who heard the crash and then examined the injury at the Bocskaikert stop. No personal injury was caused to the occupants of the vehicle as a result of the defendant’s act, but the plate and paint of the wagon were also damaged.
With his juvenile behavior, he endangered the lives and physical integrity of the passengers and ticket inspectors on the train.
The investigation was carried out by the Hajdúhadháza Police Headquarters.
The Debrecen District Prosecutor’s Office brought charges against the perpetrator of the crime in the Debrecen District Court against the perpetrator who confessed to the commission of the crime.
In the indictment for the execution of the sentence, the district prosecutor’s office filed a motion for the district court to suspend the accused and sentence him to imprisonment and establish that the juvenile is under probation during the probation period.
