It is expected that the help will arrive before the holiday, but no later than the end of the year, in the scholarship program of the county municipality called “Stay in Hajdú-Bihar”.
The call was announced in four consortia. On December 10, a working group meeting will be held in the consortium of Ester and Biharkeresztes, and on December 13 in the consortium of Püspökladány and Hajdúnánás.
In the Biharkeresztes consortium (Biharkeresztes, Ártánd, Bedő, Bojt, Nagykereki, Told) 70 people, 111 people in the Ester consortium (Esztár, Berekböszörmény, Hajdúbagos, Hajdúsámson, Kismarja, Mezőpeterd), 210 people in the consortium of Püspökladány (Püspökladány, Báránd, Bihartorda, Sárrétudvari, Szerep), 210 people in the Hajdúnánás consortium (Hajdúnánás, Egyek, Hortobágy, Polgár, Tiszacsege, Tiszagyulaháza).
The Hajdú-Bihar County Local Government can support the program.
The aim of the EU-funded program “Stay in Hajdú-Bihar” is to encourage young people to stay in place so that they can use their knowledge in their place of residence and in the county after graduation, thus strengthening the population retention and development of the region.
The scholarship of HUF 50,000 is available to Hungarian citizens pursuing secondary or higher education who meet the criteria set out in the call.
