Concentrations of coronavirus hereditary material in wastewater continue to decline, the National Center for Public Health (NNK) said on its website on Tuesday.
As reported, the concentration of hereditary coronavirus in wastewater continued to decline, although average concentrations remained significant.
One-half of the sampling sites show a stagnant trend and the other half a declining trend, and in the case of one city – in Székesfehérvár – there is a slight upward trend. According to the NNK, 9 of the examined wastewater samples fell into the “moderate” concentration range, while 13 settlements – including Debrecen – fell into the “moderate” concentration range.
The NNK warned that those with symptoms should not go to the community but stay at home and notify their GP by phone. People are also asked to keep a distance of 1.5 meters, wear a mask on public transport and the interior, and wash their hands frequently and thoroughly. The NNK recommends that everyone take the opportunity to be vaccinated.
