On István út in Debrecen, a car caught fire at noon on Wednesday, the county disaster management said.
The burning car was extinguished with a powder extinguisher by the professional firefighters of Debrecen and the vehicle was de-energized. Firefighters examined the vehicle with a thermal imager. No one was injured in the fire.
In the evening, the engine compartment of another car lit up on Sámsonkerti Street in Debrecen. The flames also spread to the interior, the driver was able to leave his vehicle in time. The professional firefighters in Debrecen extinguished the fire with a jet of water.
