The Court of Debrecen successfully participated in the 2022 tender of György Ráth, Court History and Tradition of the National Court Office. Thanks to the support won, the tribunal is continuing its forensic history research, which began almost a decade ago.
In recent years, five books have been published under the auspices of the Debrecen General Court, which dealt with the history of the legal services of Debrecen, Berettyóújfalu, Hajdúböszörmény, Hajdúszoboszló, and Püspökladány.
The sixth volume of the series currently being prepared – The History of the Legal Service in Debrecen II – is related to the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the organizational system of the district court. Focusing on the period 1872-1949, the publication aims to present the research results that have been unearthed since the first volume was published in 2014.
