On Mother’s Day, many families from all over the country visit the Debrecen Public Cemetery. On this day, the restriction on access by motor vehicle, which is otherwise valid until 1 p.m., will be lifted, so you can drive into the cemetery area all day on Sunday. In 2022, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Debrecen Public Cemetery, visitors will be welcomed for the first time with a full-day program between 10 am and 5 pm.
During the day, in the silence of the “Square of Love” in the square in front of the Chapel, we can make gifts with our own hands and listen to the performances of Debrecen artists.

The site can be reached through the 2nd gate of the Debrecen Public Cemetery, on the left side of the mirror lake, AKSD said.
